If Sastra is rendered into English by the people, who are not endowed with the practical knowledge, it happens to be erroneous and Sastra may lead in wrong ways The supposition of the author and the tune of the author should be depicted in the English version also. Several new topics, new methods of teaching and new illustrations, new figures, which have come across into my experience, while delivering the discourses are also to be added to Atmadarsini. To render Atmadarsini into other languages of the world from Telugu, which is a regional language, first of all it should be rendered into the international language, viz. into English. For the above said reasons, I happened to undertake this project of writing Atmadarsini in English myself only.
